Market orientation




What is market orientation: Market orientation is a company philosophy focused on discovering and meeting the needs and desires of its customers through its product mix.
Marketing orientation is a business model that focuses on delivering products designed according to customer desires, needs, and requirements.
Five types of Marketing Orientations:\

1.       Production concept: According to the production concept customers will prefer to the products that are available and highly affordable.

2.       Product concept: Customers will favor the product that is best in quality, design, durability and innovative features. 

3.       Selling concept: Customers will favor products that are subject to large-scale selling and promotion efforts. 

4.       Marketing concept: The focus on understanding needs and wants of customers and delivering the desired satisfactions better that competitors do. 

5.       Social marketing concept: Social marketing concept tells the organization to offer the products which satisfy the customers and also think for society well being.
